Norris, City Planner <br />City of P~amsey <br />IS153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Ramsey, MN. 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Norris: <br /> <br />The Anoka County Board of Commissioners has authorized that joint powers <br />agreements between the County and various municipalities be negotiated for <br />distribution of 1985 landfill surcharge monies to reimburse expenses for local <br />landfill abatement activities. <br /> <br />Attached are two original Joint Powers Agreements. I prepared a cover page <br />for the City's landfill abatement work plan that will allow the City to seek <br />reimbursement for composting and curbside recycling programs, if developed, <br />in addition to the proposed dropoff recycling site and promotion/education <br />program, <br /> <br />Please have both originals signed and returned to me. You can also submit an <br />itemized invoice at the same time of abatement expenses to be reimbursed. <br />As soon as the agreements are executed by the County, I will return an <br />original to you for the city's files.
