C~ERYL ¥ILLENEUVE By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director Background: Ms. Cheryl Villeneuve is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a typing and word processing business from her home at 6230 - 177th Lane NW. Ms. Villeneuve has indicated that she would be picking up or having most of her business delivered rather than having customers at her home. Ms. Villeneuve also stated that any customers at her home would be arranged by appointment only. The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Ms. Villeneuve's request on May 6, 1986. Included in the reference material are the following for your information: a) Application b) Site location map c) Public hearing notice d) Properties notified e) Brochure for applicant's business f) Letter dated May 5, 1986 from Ms. Lillian Nugent g) Proposed findings of fact h) Proposed conditional use permit agreement Observations: As the proposed use will not create an increase in traffic to the neighborhood and would not have a detrimental effect on neighboring properties, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Ms. Villeneuve's request. Recommendation: Council Action: Motion to: Adopt Findings of Fact O0_u relating to a request by Ms. Cheryl Villeneuve for a conditional use permit to operate a typing and word processing business from her home. -and- Motion to: Approve the request by Ms. Cheryl Villeneuve for a conditional use permit to operate a typing and word processing business from her home at 6230 - 177th Lane NW contingent upon the applicant entering into a conditional use permit agreement with the City.
