Councilnember Cox ·tared that it can be addressed but it is · fact that <br />drainage flo~s to the north and to the west into Lake Itasca and then flows <br />parallel to that area adjacent to the railroad tracks and southeast, <br /> <br />Council recessed at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Nayor Heitman called the meeting back to order at 0:40 p.m. <br /> <br />~gLaE_~L~_L High Water Pumoiu~ (Continued): <br /> <br />Nr. Hartley stated that he has received approximately 20 calls fro~ people <br />indicating that pumping has a positive affect. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann noted that it was drier in the Fall of 1985 than now and <br />the City pumped water to relieve problems over the winter; with the snow melt <br />and rainy season upon us, pumping will not begin to lower the water. A <br />decision on how to finance stor~ sever improvements should be made on April 29. <br /> <br />Notion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Payor Heitman to table a decision <br />on ptunping high water until April 29, 1986. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Payor Eeitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~7.' Adoption Of Resolution Re~ardin~ Completion Of County Road ti16 <br /> Across The Rum River: <br /> <br />Notion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution ~86~ regarding the completion of County Road ~116 across the Rum <br />River and authorize Staff to direct it to the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce <br />and the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #86- 63. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox inquired if lis. Norris has had any input <br />from Burns. Ns. Norris replied that Burns has adopted a like resolution; <br />Anoka and the School Board will be adopting the same. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Nayor Neitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Adoption Of Ordinance #86-3 Rezonin! Hr. Robert Nuller's Property <br /> F~om R-1 Residential To B-1 Business: <br /> <br />Notion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Council~ember Schlueter to adopt <br />Ordinance #86-3 rezoning Mr. Robert Nuller's property from R-1 Residential to <br />B-1 Business. (Please refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #86-3). <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Payor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Relmann and Schlueter.
