Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers 8orteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and 8chlueter. Voting No: ~one. <br /> <br />Marion Grens - Inquired as to vhat the City intends to do about Trott Brook <br />Cemetery; vi11 it be moved in time for Memorial Day? <br /> <br />Notion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Council~ember Reimann authorizing <br />that Trott Brook Cemetery be mowed prior to gemorial. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated it vould be appropriate for <br />Council to take a stand on the cemetery issue for the benefit of the Cemetery <br />Committee. Councilmember Reimann stated that the Cemetery Committee should <br />make a recommendation to City Council regarding ~aintenance of existing <br />cemeteries and Council ~ill determine if the City budget can absorb those <br />costs. Mayor Heitman stated that Councilmember Cox should also resurrect prior <br />recommendations he says vere ignored and the Committee vi11 have a conclusion <br />at that point in time. A1Koenig inquired if there are City funds available <br />for cemetery maintenance. Hayor Heitman replied that there are no funds <br />designated in the budget for cemetery maintenance. Councilmember Cox stated <br />that the City does have additional funds available and it is the City*s <br />responsibility to maintain these cemeteries. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Heitman stated that the hour is late but Mr. Robert <br />Cox (Case ~19) and Mr. I)ubats (Case ~17) have been vaiting to have their cases <br />addressed. Councilmember Relmann stated that Case ~17 and Case ~19 can be <br />placed on the April 29 agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
