Norris noted that the items of request on the application were the <br />recommendation of the Park Commission. <br /> <br />Notion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by CouncilBember Reimann to approve <br />the preliminary application for 1987 LAWCON/LCHR funds and to authorize the <br />Mayor to sign said application. <br /> <br />Notion carried. (Refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution ~86-65). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Hartley stated that all of the items to be purchased <br />are included in the regular budget but the total amount exceeds Staff's <br />purchasing authority and required Council's approval. Nayor Heit~an inquired <br />if Staff feels the thermo binding Bachine is a worthwhile purchase. <br />Hartley replied that the thermo binding process is Bore efficient than the rin~ <br />binding; the ring binding viii be used from time to time because it does have <br />desireable features. <br /> <br />Notion carried.
