Voting Yes: Nayor Heitman, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that Its ~6 of the Consent Agenda (Introduction of <br />Ordinance ~mending the number of off-sale liquor licenses permitted with the <br />City of Ramsey) was first brought to Council for consideration; introducing the <br />ordinance to increase the number of off-sale liquor is premature at this time; <br />the idea merits more discussion and review. <br /> <br />Hr. Goodrich noted that introducing an ordinance is not adopting the ordinance; <br />the ordinance could not be adopted until the next Council meeting, gr. <br />Goodrich stated that he has some material on file from previous considerations <br />of this type in Ramsay and will get that information to councilmembers. <br /> <br />Notion by Councilme~ber Cox and seconded by Council~e~ber Schlueter to table <br />introduction of Ordinance a~ending the nmnber of off-sale liquor licenses <br />permitted with the City of Ramsey and place the case on the next Council <br />meeting agenda for further discussion. <br /> <br />Purther Discussion: Councilmember Cox requested that t~. Coodrich provide back <br />up information for Counc£1 to revie~ prior to the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Hayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Adoption Of Resolution Approvin~ The Transfer Of O~aership Of <br /> GrOU? W Cable. lnc.: <br /> <br />Notion by Councilme~ber Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution ~86- 67 approving the transfer of o~nership of Croup W Cable, Inc. <br />(Pleae refer to resolution file for Resolution ~8~?). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann stated that the sale transaction is <br />two part: tonight's resolution is to transfer ownership; legal and technical <br />issues viii be addressed in a second transaction. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Hayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Labor A~_reement Between The City of h~sev And AFSCHE. Local <br /> <br />Hr. Hartley stated that the Personnel Committee has reviewed the proposed labor <br />agreement between AFSCHE and the City. In Article 13 there are provisions for <br />paying employees while on jury duty or under subpoena as a witness in court. <br />The Personnel Committee questioned whether the provision intended paying <br />employees while under subpoena for any reason or only job related reasons. <br /> April 29, 1984 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
