SUMMARY <br /> The following is the official summary of Ordinance#16-09,which has been approved by the City Council <br /> of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> It is the intent and effect of Ordinance 916-09 to amend Ramsey,Minnesota City Code Chapter 26,Article <br /> XIV to require detached and attached single-family dwellings obtain a rental license before renting the <br /> dwellings. These single-family dwellings would be subject to a registration, but not the initial application <br /> inspection. The City reserves the right to request an inspection if it finds reasonable cause to assume a code <br /> violation exists and reserves the right to obtain an administrative search warrant if deemed necessary. <br /> SECTION 4.
