flUl, fl'lAR¥ OF IL,~$EY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />CHAPTER 170.01 OF THE P, AI~SE'~ CI'l~ CODE <br /> <br />170.011 ~ASIC PROVISIONS <br /> <br />I70.011A ~ <br /> <br />Ramsey Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />170.OllB PURPOSE <br /> <br />To provide zoning provisions and map in accordance with Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />170.011C I/ELATIO~ TO COHPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />Enforcement and administration of this ordinance will be in accordance with the <br />Comprehensive Plan adopted to regulate land use and development. <br /> <br />I?0.OllD RULES <br /> <br />Includes interpretation of certain language terms contained in this ordinance. <br />170.012 ~ <br /> <br />Contains definitions of attain connnonly referred to terms in the ordinance. <br />170.013 ADHI~I STRATION <br /> <br />170.013A ~ONING OFFICER <br /> <br /> Zoning Officer is appointed by Council to administer and enforce the ordinances <br /> issue building permits and maintain zoning application file. <br /> <br /> 170.013B PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> Planning Commission consists of 7 voting m~ers appointed by City Council to 4 <br /> year terms and serves as an advisory board to Council. <br /> <br /> 170.013C ZONING AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Zoning amendments may be initiated by a petition fro~ a member of City Council, <br /> Plaunin§ Conmission or property owner; are subject to a public hearing; and all <br /> costs incurred in the processing of it are the responsibility of the applicant. <br /> Council shall take action within 45 days of the public hearing and passage <br /> requires a 4/5 vote of Council. <br /> <br /> 170.013D ~01~DITI01~AL USE PERHITS <br /> <br /> A conditional use permit provides the City the discretion to allow a non- <br /> permitted use in any particular zone. Applications are filed ~ith the Zoning <br /> Officer; subjected to Planning Commission for public hearing and recommendation <br /> to City Council within 30 days of hearing; subjected to Council for review, <br /> adoption of findings of fact and action within 30 days after receipt of <br /> reco~endation fr~n Planning C~ission. All costs incurred in processing the <br /> application are the responsibility of the applicant. <br /> <br /> <br />
