JURGEN ZURNIEDEN <br /> By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a lawn <br />maintenance and landscaping business from his home at 7721 - 171st Avenue NW. <br />Mr. Zurnieden has stated that none of the equipment (one tractor, one two-wheel <br />trailer and two lawn mowers) for this business will be stored outside at his <br />home. Mr. Zurnieden stated that this is a part-time business for his son and <br />himself; there are no other employees. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Mr. <br />Zurnieden's request on June 3, 1986 and recommended approval of the conditional <br />use permit. <br /> <br />Included in the reference material are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br />e) Proposed findings of fact <br />f) Proposed conditional use permit agreement <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />As the proposed use would not have a detrimental effect on neighboring <br />properties and would not create an increase in traffic to the area, Staff <br />recommends that Mr. Zurnieden's request be approved. <br /> <br />Recommendation: ~. ~/~ <br /> Council Action: / ~H! ~ <br /> <br /> Motion to: <br /> <br />Adopt Findings of Fact 00.. relating to a request by Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden <br />for a conditional use permit to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping <br />business from his home. <br /> <br />-and- d'~/~ -- <br />Motion to: <br />Approve of the request by ~r. ~urgen Znrnieden for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business from his <br />home at 7721 - 171st Avenue NW contingent upon Mr. Zurnieden entering <br />into a conditional use permit agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Dir.
