Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION ~86- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID (Flintwood Hills 3rd Addition {86-17 & WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the extension of utilities, streets and storm sewer for Flintwood Hills 2nd Addition Phase II, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid Widmer, Inc. American Contracting Corp. S. J. Louis Construction Latour Construction Nodlund Associates, Inc. H.B.H. Construction, Inc. $414,375.85 444,038.69 445,41 9.53 459,353.55 475,454.00 492,821.35 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Widmer, Inc. has the lowest responsible bid in the amount of $414,375.85. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF IL4HSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Widmer, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the extension of utilities, streets and storm sewer for Flintwood Hills 2nd Addition Phase II according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Axiministrator. 2) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made ~..'"lwith their bids, except that the deposits of the successful · ?,.,~'bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a / 1 · iii/' contract has been signed.
