Any monies collected under th~s section shall be payable to the city clerk, who shall monthly pay sald monies over to the city treasurer. 110.058 Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful to kill, destroy or otherwise cause any injury to any dog or animal of a dog kind. Violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor. 110.039 FEROCIOUS OR VICIOUS ANII~t,M~$ 1. No person shall keep or suffer to be kept on his premises, or on the premises occupied by him, nor permit nor suffer to run at large in said city, any dog or animal of a dog kind of a ferocious or vicious character, habit or disposition, even though said dog or animal of a dog kind be properly licensed under this chapter. 2. If in the reasonable belief of any person or officer appointed to enforce this chapter, such dog or animal of a dog kind presents an immediate danger to the health and safety of any person or the said city, said person or officer may kill said dog or animal of a dog kind forthwith. Otherwise said person or officer may appre- hend said dog or animal of a dog kind and deliver him to the dog pound for confinement. If the dog or animal of a dog kind is found to present a danger to the health and safety of said city, based upon a reasonable belief of the officer appointed to enforce this chapter, he may be killed or otherwise disposed of. In such a case, the owner or keeper of said dog or animal of a dog kind shall be liable for the maintenance costs provided in Section 110.036 hereof and a charge of Five Dollars ($5.00) to dispose of the dog or animal of a dog kind. If said dog or animal of a dog kind is found not to be a danger to the health and safety of said city, he may be released to the owner or keep- er in accordance with Section 110.037 hereof. Said dog or animal of a dog kind may be released to other persons in accordance with Section 110.038 hereof. 110.0310 FFAIAI,E A~NIMAI,S 1. No owner or keeper of a female dog or female animal of a dog kind shall permit or suffer the same to run at large in said city while the same is in heat, even though properly licensed under this chapter. Any officer appointed to enforce this chapter or any other person may deliver said female dog or female animal of a dog kind to the dog pound for confinement.
