]]0.0~? <br /> <br />At the e×piratton of five (5) days fr~m. thc' time. eny dog or animal of <br />a dog kind t~ impounded, if the snme has not been reclaimed in accord- <br />ance with the provisions of this chapter, the officer ~ppointed to <br />enforce this chapter may let any person claim said dog or animal of a <br />dog kind by complying with al! provisions of this chapter, ~ncludtng <br />Section ]10.036, or he may se]] the dog or ~nima] of a dog kind to the <br />University of ffinnesota, or he may cause such dog or ~ntma] of a dog <br />kind to be killed and shall properly dispose of the remains thereof. <br />Any monies collected under th~s section shall be payable to the city <br />clerk, who shall monthly pay sald monies over to the city treasurer. <br /> <br />110.058 <br /> <br />Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful to <br />kill, destroy or otherwise cause any injury to any dog or animal of a <br />dog kind. Violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor. <br /> <br />110.039 FEROCIOUS OR VICIOUS ANII~t,M~$ <br /> <br /> 1. No person shall keep or suffer to be kept on his premises, <br />or on the premises occupied by him, nor permit nor suffer to run at large <br />in said city, any dog or animal of a dog kind of a ferocious or vicious <br />character, habit or disposition, even though said dog or animal of a dog <br />kind be properly licensed under this chapter. <br /> <br /> 2. If in the reasonable belief of any person or officer <br />appointed to enforce this chapter, such dog or animal of a dog kind <br />presents an immediate danger to the health and safety of any person <br />or the said city, said person or officer may kill said dog or animal <br />of a dog kind forthwith. Otherwise said person or officer may appre- <br />hend said dog or animal of a dog kind and deliver him to the dog <br />pound for confinement. If the dog or animal of a dog kind is found <br />to present a danger to the health and safety of said city, based upon <br />a reasonable belief of the officer appointed to enforce this chapter, <br />he may be killed or otherwise disposed of. In such a case, the owner <br />or keeper of said dog or animal of a dog kind shall be liable for the <br />maintenance costs provided in Section 110.036 hereof and a charge of <br />Five Dollars ($5.00) to dispose of the dog or animal of a dog kind. <br />If said dog or animal of a dog kind is found not to be a danger to the <br />health and safety of said city, he may be released to the owner or keep- <br />er in accordance with Section 110.037 hereof. Said dog or animal of <br />a dog kind may be released to other persons in accordance with Section <br />110.038 hereof. <br /> <br />110.0310 FFAIAI,E A~NIMAI,S <br /> <br /> 1. No owner or keeper of a female dog or female animal of a <br />dog kind shall permit or suffer the same to run at large in said city <br />while the same is in heat, even though properly licensed under this <br />chapter. Any officer appointed to enforce this chapter or any other <br />person may deliver said female dog or female animal of a dog kind to <br />the dog pound for confinement. <br /> <br /> <br />
