2. It shall bc unlawful for any persnn tn kill any fem~lc <br />dog or female animal of a dog kind running n{ large in violation of <br />tht~ chapter. However, ~uch female dog or female animal of n dog kind <br />may be apprehended by any person and delivered to the proper officer <br />for confinement in the dog pound. If properly licensed, said dog or <br />animal of a dog kind amy be released to the owner or keeker upon the <br />payment to the city clerk of Five Dollars ($5.00), and ir accordance <br />~ith Section 110.036 hereof, or said female dog or female aninal of a <br />dog kind may be released to any person in accordance wit?. Section <br />110.037 hereof. <br /> <br />110.0311 DISEASED ANIMALS <br /> <br /> 1. No person shall keep or suffer to be kept ~n his premises, <br />or on premises occupied by him, nor permit nor suffer tc run at large <br />in said city, any dog or animal of a dog kind which is diseased so as <br />to be a danger to the health and safety of said city, even though said <br />dog or animal of a dog kind be properly licensed under this chapter. <br /> <br /> 2. Any dog or animal of a dog kind reasonably suspected of <br />such disease may be apprehended and confined in the dog pound by any <br />person or officer appointed to enforce this chapter. %km officer <br />appointed to enforce this chapter shall have a qualified veterinarian <br />examine said dog or animal of a dog kind. If found to be_ diseased in <br />such a manner to be a danger to the health and safety of said city, <br />the officer appointed to enforce this chapter shall cause such dog or <br />animal of a dog kind to be killed and shall properly dispose of the <br />remains. The owner or keeper of said dog or animal of a dog kind <br />killed under this section shall be liable for a Five Dollar ($5.00) <br />fine to cover the cost of disposing of the dog or animal of a dog kind <br />and Three Dollars ($3.00) a day maintenance charge and the costs of any <br />veterinarian examinations. <br /> <br /> 3. If said dog or animal of a dog kind upon examination is <br />not found to be diseased within the meaning of this section, then said <br />dog or animal of a dog kind shall be released to the o~er or keeper <br />free of any charge. <br /> <br />110.0312 N{II~a~L BITES <br /> <br /> 1. All dogs and cats kept, harbored, maintaired or trans- <br />ported within the City of Ramsey are required to be vaccinated at <br />least once every two (2) years by a licensed veterinarian for: <br /> <br />a. Rabies - with a live modified vaccine; and <br />b. Distemper. <br /> <br /> 2. A certificate of vaccination must be kept on which is <br />stated the date of vaccination, owners name and address, the animals <br />name (if applicable), sex, description and weight, the type of vaccine <br />and the veterinarian's signature. <br /> <br /> 3. Upon demand made by the clerk, the owner shall present <br />for examination the required certificate(s) of vaccination for his <br />animal. In cases where certificates are not presented, the owner or <br />keeper of animal(s) has seven (?) days in which to present said <br /> <br /> <br />
