It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor a <br />dog which habitually barks or cries between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and <br />6:00 a.m. It shall by unlawful for any dog owner to permit his dog to <br />damage any lawn, garden or other property. Any dog aforesaid in this <br />section may be impounded as provided in Section 110.036 or a complaint <br />may be issued by anyone against the owner of the dog for prosecution <br />under this chapter. <br /> <br /> 2. Any person knowing of a human being bitten by a dog or <br />cat shall immediately notify the dog catcher or the police department <br />or the city secretary and said animal shall then be confined in the <br />pound and kept under observation for a period of fourteen (14) days <br />before being released or disposed of. <br /> <br />110.0320 PENALTY <br /> <br /> 1. Each day a violation of this chapter is committed or per- <br />mitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be <br />punishable as such hereunder. <br /> <br /> 2. Any animals kept contrary to this chapter are hereby <br />declared a public nuisance and may be abated according to the law. <br /> <br /> <br />
