Sylvia Prolik has worked for the City o[ Ramsey since July of 1981, <br />primarily as · recording secretary for the City Council and several <br />Commissions. For the past five months, Sylvia has been spending at least 40 <br />hours per week serving as secret·fy and editor of the Ramsey Resident. Sylvia <br />has not received vacation, sick leave and other benefits related to full-time <br />employment. The Personnel Committee has reviewed the employment status of <br />Sylvia and forwards the following recommendation to the City Council. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of myself and the Personnel Committee that Sylvia <br />Frolik be placed on the regular full-time status as Clerical III and that any <br />probationary period be waived since Sylvia has worked for the City for some <br />years. The proposed pay schedule shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Clerical III (Regular Full-time): <br /> <br />Payroll beginning 9/02/86 - $7.00 per hour <br />Payroll beginning 10/25/86 - $7.15 per hour <br />Payroll beginning 12/20/86 - $7.30 per hour <br />Payroll beginning 2/28/87 - $7.47 per hour <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Notion to: <br />Approve the regular full-time status classification for Mrs. Sylvia Frolik <br />as Clerical III, waive any probationary period, and implement · pay plan <br />as recommended by the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Eugineer <br />Community Development Director _~_ <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Personnel Committee <br /> <br /> <br />
