DAVID <br />~y: iaaa lorris, Co~nity Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. David Tranby is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision for property <br />located on the southeast corner of the intersection of 173rd Avenue NW and <br />Baugh Street MW. l~r. Tranby would like to split off the northwest ten acres of <br />this parcel in order to sell those ten acres. Mr. Tranby's property is located <br />in the R-1 Residential District. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Map of existing parcel <br /> c) Map of proposed subdivision <br /> d) Proposed development agreement <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed Mr. Tranby's request on August 5, <br />1986 and recommended approval of the metes and bounds subdivision and requested <br />an additional 27' easement on the north side of the property for future road <br />improvement to County Road ~83. They also required that any further <br />subdivision of Mr. Tranby's property not be allowed until such time as <br />additional access is provided to the property. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve Mr. David Tranby's request for metes and bounds subdivision <br />contingent upon Mr. Tranby entering into a development agreement that no <br />further subdivision of the property will be allowed until such time as <br />additional access is provided to the property to the City's <br />specifications. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator . <br />Attorney <br />Engineer X <br />Community Development Director _~_ <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
