City Attorney Goodrich advised no action should be taken on this ordinance based on the public hearing. Motion by Councihnember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Kurak that no action be taken on the introduction of an ordinance on the establishment of a Special Service District for AUAR Roadway Improvements. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Kurak, Elvig, Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #2: Public Hearing and Request for Vacation of Easement in Ramsey Town Center Addition; Case of Ramsey Town Center LLC Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:19 p.m. Presentation Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon explained as part of the development associated with Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition, the drainage and utility easements on Outlet I will need to be vacated. They will be replaced with new drainage and utility easements as part of the new plat. Assistant Public Works Director Olson explained this is part of the Ramsey Town Center regional storm water facility. Originally there was to be three major ponds. The request is for modification to the drainage system, which will require different pipe sizes than originally approved. This will result in a change order, and it will be staff recommendation that be a contingency to this vacation request. There are some large pipe sizes further to the east that will be needed as a part of this reconfiguration, but staff is fairly confident at this time that it can and will work with the cooperation of all involved. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councihnember Elvig, second by Councilmember Cook, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
