City Attorney Goodrich advised no action should be taken on this ordinance based on the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Kurak that no action be taken on <br />the introduction of an ordinance on the establishment of a Special Service District for AUAR <br />Roadway Improvements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Kurak, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Request for Vacation of Easement in Ramsey Town <br />Center Addition; Case of Ramsey Town Center LLC <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:19 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon explained as part of the development <br />associated with Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition, the drainage and utility easements on Outlet I <br />will need to be vacated. They will be replaced with new drainage and utility easements as part of <br />the new plat. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson explained this is part of the Ramsey Town Center <br />regional storm water facility. Originally there was to be three major ponds. The request is for <br />modification to the drainage system, which will require different pipe sizes than originally <br />approved. This will result in a change order, and it will be staff recommendation that be a <br />contingency to this vacation request. There are some large pipe sizes further to the east that will <br />be needed as a part of this reconfiguration, but staff is fairly confident at this time that it can and <br />will work with the cooperation of all involved. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, second by Councilmember Cook, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman.
