CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT SEPTEMBER, 1986 Status of Subdivisions: Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition: A two-year exten- sion on Phase II of this plat was granted at your February 28, 1984 council meeting. Northfork P.U.D.: There is no change in the status of the First Addition. The preliminary plat on the Second Addition was approved on July 15, 1986. Rum River Hills: There is no change in status of the construction since last month. De Voltin's Oak Hill Estates: The cul-de-sacs have been paved in the subdivision. Final clean up and restoration has not been completed. Alpaca Estates Third Addition: has been completed. Ail work on this subdivision Ext. of 153rd Avenue: H&S Asphalt started construction on this project September 8, 1986. They are currently grading the street. The completion date on this project is November 14, 1986. Extension of Dysprosium Street to Trunk Highway 47 & C.S.A.H. No. 5: The District State Aid Engineer, Mr. Weichselbaum, has informed me that cooperative agreement funds are available for fiscal year 1987. We are currently working with the County and the landowner, Mr. Ken Laws, on determining the alignment of the intersection. Industrial Utilities: As you are aware, the bids for this project were approximately $300,000 above the maximum amount the award could be made for. Therefore, we are reviewing the possibility of reducing the size of the project and redesigning it using a lift station. Flintwood Hills Third Addition: This project was started on September 8, 1986. The completion date is November 13, 1986. 1986 Sealcoating Projects: The seal coating has been completed on all projects with the exception of Hall Anderson Acres and Halland Acres. If weather permits, we will complete the projects by the end of September.
