5 Minutes CASE ~3: <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERNIT TO UTILIZE <br /> AN OFFICE TRAILER FOR TENPORARY OFFICE SPACE; <br /> CASE OF IO~STER-BALCO, INC. <br />By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Master-llalco, Inc. is requesting a conditional use permit to utilize an office <br />trailer for temporary office space at 14000 Sunfish Lake Blvd. NW in the I-1 <br />Industrial District. The trailer will be approximately 760 square feet. Mr. <br />Terry Lancaster of Master-Halco, Inc. has stated that they will use the office <br />trailer while they are locating a suitable site for a permanent structure. The <br />temporary office will house ten employees and five office personnel. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are the following items: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br />e) Proposed findings of fact <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on this request <br />on September 2, 1986. The Commission recommended denial-of this request based <br />on concerns that the office trailer would be located in required yard setbacks. <br /> <br />As Council recalls, a conditional use permit was granted to Great Plains Gas to <br />utilize a temporary structure for office space in the Industrial District on <br />Highway 410 NW.
