DISCUSSION ~EGARDING ~EQUI~E~ENT FOR CERTIFICATE OF LOT SURVEY8 <br /> Byt Anne ~orris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, at your special meeting on September 23, the Commission directed <br />that all application8 for building permits shall be accompanied by certificate <br />of lot surveys. The Building Official has requested additional direction from <br />the Commission and/or Council regarding this requirement. Certificate of lot <br />surveys should be required for all commercial and industrial construction. <br />However, the Building Official has expressed concerns about this requirement <br />for large parcels (i.e. over 10 acres) of land for residential structures, <br />additions to existing residential structures, or on properties that are platted <br />and corner stakes/pine are available/exposed. <br /> <br />A memo from the Building Official regarding this matter will be available at <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Reco~mendat ions: <br /> <br /> Commission Action: <br /> <br />Will be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />AJminietrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br /> Chief of Police <br /> Finance Officer <br /> Public Works Superintendent <br />X Building Official X <br /> <br /> <br />
