CASE f7: <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION ~A~II~¢ ACTION I~A~S <br />Aune Norrim, Community Development Director <br /> <br />~ackgrouud: <br /> <br />As you recall, some time ago the City Administrator sent out action plans that <br />were based on the high priority needs identified at the goal setting session of <br />the Council and Commissions in March of this year. These needs have been <br />reviewed and in some cases, combined with other needs. Action plans for these <br />high priority needs have been drafted. Due to time considerations, these <br />action plans must be reviewed and reprioritized if necessary. Also, Commission <br />members must be assigned to action teams working on the various needs. <br /> <br />For your information, enclosed is ~ memo from the City Administrator dated July <br />21, 1986 with drafts of the action plans. Planning Commission members need to <br />be appointed to the action teams for the following needs: <br /> <br />1. Improved communication between all levels of City government. <br />2. More vigorous enforcement of laws and regulations; and the need for <br /> understandable laws and regulations that work. <br />3. Drainage outlets into the Mississippi and Rum Rivers. <br />4. Transportation improvements. <br />5. Improve appearance of IL~msey. <br />6.
