Mr. Tranby was present requesting a ~etea and bounda subdiviaion of I0 acres <br />from property located on the southeast corner of the intersection of 173rd <br />Avenue and Baugh Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to approve <br />Mr. David Tranby'a request for metes and bounds subdivision contingent upon Mr. <br />Tranby entering into a development agreement that no further subdivision of the <br />property will be allowed until such time as additional access ia provided to <br />the property to the City's apecifications. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Re imann, Councilmember$ Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter. Voting ~o: None. <br /> <br />Ca~e ~5: Request For Metes And Bounds Subdivision; Case Of Mr. And Mrs. <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer was present requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of a 15,6 acre <br />parcel from his existing 40 acre parcel. <br /> <br />Motion by Counc ilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Morteberg to approve <br />Mr. and Mrs. Roger Meyer's request for a metes and bounds subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~6: Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Sno~vlowin? <br /> Operation Prom Home; Case Of Mr. Scott Sprin~er: <br /> <br />Mr. Scott Springer was present requesting a conditional use permit to operate a <br />snowplowing operation from his home at 8872 175th Lane NW. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Planning and Zoning conducted a public hearing and <br />recommended approval of the request; Ms. Norris is recommending disapproval <br />based on the findings of fact; Ms. Norris also points out that Mr. Springer <br />provide assisstance to area residents by plowing streets. <br /> <br />Mr. Springer stated that his case ia a result of Mr. Goodrich and Ms. Norris <br />noticing his property while following up on another zoning complaint. Mr. <br />Springer stated that all 6 of his vehicles are licensed and he can't store them <br />inside because code doesn't allow for a large enough accessory structure on his <br />property. He and his two sons operate three of the vehicles during the snow <br />season and he hires drivers for the other three. <br /> <br />Council proceeded to review and amend the proposed findings of fact as follows: <br /> Items 1-9 will remain as proposed. <br /> Item 10 will be deleted. <br /> <br /> Items 10.a through 12 shall be revised to read as follows: <br /> <br /> August 26, 1986 <br /> <br />Page $ of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
