Request For Conditional Os. Permit To Operate A Lawn Maintenance <br /> Business From Home At 7721 - 171st Avenue NW; Case Of Mr. Jurgen <br /> <br />Motion by Con~issioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to adopt <br />Findings of Fact relating to a request by Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden for a <br />conditional use permit to operste a lawn maintenance and landscaping business <br />fro~ his home. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, LaDue, Bendrickson and Howell. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />recommend approval of the request by Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business from his home at <br />7721 -17lst Avenue 1~ contingent upon the applicant entering into a conditional <br />use permit agreement with said agreement to be amended as follows: <br /> <br />Add: Ite~ ~6 to read as follows: *The employees of the lawn <br />maintenance business shall be limited to members of the applicants <br />family.* <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, LaDue, Hendrickson and Howell. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shum~ay. <br /> <br />Case ~2: Request For Prellminarv Plat Aonroval Of River*s Bend Second <br /> Addition: Case Of River*s Bend Properties: <br /> <br />Hr. NcLaughlin was present. <br /> <br />Notion by Co~nissioner Deemer and seconded by Co~nissioner Hendrickson to <br />recommend approval of the preli~ninary plat of River*s Bend Second Addition <br />based on City Engineer*s report of June 3, 1986, to grant a variance to the <br />deficiencies in Lot 3 of Block 1, and to be contingent upon River*s Bend <br />Properties obaining rezoning of the subject property. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zi~nerman, <br />Deemer, Hendrickson, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shunmay. <br /> <br />Case~3: Request For Variance From Street Frontage Requirements; Caze Of <br /> Mr. Lowell Vasseur: <br /> <br />Mr. Vasseur was present requesting variance to the street frontage requirements <br />for access to the 40 acre parcel located southwest of 155th Avenue NW and <br />Variolite Street NW. <br /> <br />The Commission informed Mr. Vasseur that the City's Thoroughfare Plan proposes <br />to extend 155th Avenue NW through this parcel he plans to build on. No time <br />frame has been determined for building that extension but Council will require <br />road right-of-way. <br /> <br />The Commission did agree that the site is buildable. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
