directing that Mr. Sauter proceed to the preliminary plat stage; that the City <br />look into the issue of railroad ties presently be stored on the property by a <br />non-property owner as that storage presents a possible pollution and fire <br />hazard and obstruction to current grading process being conducted on the <br />property. Further, that soil borings and topos are not necessary as those <br />tests have been previously conducted on this property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Paterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmermsn, Howell, LaDue and Hendriekson. Voting No: ~one. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Case ~8: Discussion Regardin~ Plants And ThinEs: <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed City Attorney Coodrich's memo dated June 3, 1986 <br />regarding certain building and/or zoning violations which Plants & Things may <br />have committed by it's recent construction of a building on it's site. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Howell directing Ms. <br />8orris to send a letter to Mr. Hickman, owner of Plants & Things, requesting <br />that he appear before the Planning and Zoning Commission at their special <br />meeting on June 17, 1986 to discuss items contained in City Attorney Goodrich <br />memo dated June 3, 1986. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Paterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendrickson, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />COI~IISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that his neighbor is violating the terms of his <br />conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that she has sent a letter to Mr. Root in regards to his <br />violations. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Notion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to adjourn <br />the Planning and Zoning meeting. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Paterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendrickson, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None.
