Mr. Jankowski stated that his call would be to schedule <br />overlays on condition of roads rather than years. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Haas Steffen and Zimmerman. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Consider Request for Additional stop Sign at 142na Lane and Waco Street <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the City has received a request for an additional stop sign at the <br />intersection of 142''d Lane and Waco Street, making it an all-way stop. The letter from resident <br />Wayne Bell cites speed as an issue. Mr. Jankowski stated a speed study should be done but we <br />would need to do it at a time when we have decent pavement. We also need to deal with sight <br />distance. <br /> <br />A suggestion was made to factor in the potential development to the north of this area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to direct <br />staff to (lo a speed study when the weather is permitting and to not ignore the potential <br />development to the north. Notify the interested parties. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Haas Steffen and Zimmerman. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Items for Future Public Works Committee Discussions <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski presented a list of items for discussion by the Public Works Comlnittee <br />and requested input from the Committee as far as additional items and prioritization of items. <br />The list is as follows: 1) Dirt Street Paving; 2) Traffic Calming Policy; 3) Stol~n Water <br />Utilities/Funding; 4) Drainage Situation on C.R. #116/Frontage Roads; 5) Policy for <br />Reviewing Change Orders; 6) Discuss Agenda Format/Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Suggestions: <br /> 1 ) Add Through Lanes on #47. <br /> 2) Change #3 to Storm Water Utilities/Planning/Funding - Highway #10 and a River <br /> Corssing/#116 interfacing at all w/153rd; N/S route over a River - how will you form <br /> this utility fund and when will these monies be available?
