Hartley summarizing what <br />has happened in the last six ~onths and any recommendations he might have. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Cox noted that this evaluation was a condition of employment put <br /> in place no hatter who was hired for the position of City Administrator; the <br /> evaluation is not intended to chastise but rather it should benefit the entire <br /> community. <br /> <br /> Hr. Harley stated that he doubts there is any one thing that has happened that <br /> he had sole impact on; everything that happened was in concert with staff and <br /> city council. Scene of the accomplishments in the last six months are: <br /> improved relationships with various State agencies, streamlining council <br /> meetings to be more effective, dealt with personnel ~atters (some of which were <br /> successful and others are still frustrating), and i~proved community relations <br /> which are continuing to gro~. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Re/mann inquired as to ho~ ~r. ltartley views his position in <br /> relation to city staff and city council. <br /> <br /> July 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
