Bartley needs feedback in order to &cco~pliah his job. l~yor Beitman stated that he feels Hr. B~rtley has brought continuity to the operations at City Rail at s time vhen there have been so~e difficult changes; that he has been effective in communicating, vhich benefits the public and council; that he has effectively participated in preparing the City's position vith respect to the ElS on the landfill, a position state~ent that reflects l~amsey is ~nni~ ~ore professionally than in the past. ~yor Beit~a~ referred to the council ~eetin~ agendas and the cha~es in fount that have been ~ade; appreciate rec~endations that are contained in the ~enda that ~st c~e fr~ an individual that has to york vith relatively ~ol~tile people. ~yor Beit~an stated that Nr. Bartley has a go~ understanding of ~anagement principles and he vould like to see that s~e ea~e~ess, care and ~ttention to ~anagement details ~aintained. Councilmember Reimann noted that it is time to begin the regular Council meetin~ end suggested that Hr, Hartley'a evaluation be continued as the last order of business on the regular Council meeting agenda of 7-22-86. Council consensus vas to adjourn the special meeting and continue Mr. Hartley's evaluation as a final case on the regular 7-22-8~ Council agenda.
