property · <br /> <br />Casa ~3: Discussion Regarding Park Commission Review of Plats Re~ardin~ <br /> Par~ Dedication Reauirements <br /> <br />Commissioners Shumway and Hendriksen stated that they attended the July 17 <br />meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission regarding park dedication <br />requirements in Northfork. Commissioner Hendriksen noted that according to the <br />City's park dedication ordinance, recommendations regarding park dedications <br />should be coming from the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />The Commission noted that it should not be making recommendations on <br />preliminary plats until the Park Commission has reviewed and recommended on <br />them. The Commission also discussed the relationship between the Planning <br />Commission and Park Commission with respect to park dedication recommendations. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman suggested that a joint meeting of the Planning <br />Commission and Park Commission be scheduled to discuss park dedication issues. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner $humway to try to <br />schedule joint Planning-Park Commissions meeting for Tuesday, August 26, 1986. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Chairman Peterson requested that Commission members be <br />prepared to discuss possible agenda items for this joint meeting at the August <br />5 meeting. The Commission noted that a City-wide trail system and bicycle <br />paths should be among items to be discussed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Zimmerman, Deemer, Howell, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to adjourn <br />the special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners LaDue, <br />Hendriksen, Howell, Deemer, Zimmerman and Shumway.
