RECREATION VEI~ICL~. <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Johnson is requesting your review and comments regarding <br />his proposal for a wildlife park and recreation vehicle campground to <br />be located on the property east of P~na Street N.W. and north of the <br />railroad tracks. The site contains approximately 100 acres; Mr. <br />Johnson is proposing to develop approximately 23 acres of the site as <br />a wildlife park and the remaining 80 acres for a recreation vehicle <br />campground to be developed in several ~hases. Approximately 71 acres <br />of the site are located in the I-1 Industrial District and the <br />remaining property is located in the R-1 Residential District. The <br />proposal would have to go through the conditional use permit <br />application process. Mr. Johnson is requesting your reaction to his <br />plan ooncept at this time. Staff has reviewed the proposed site plan <br />and has concerns regarding: <br /> <br />- access to the site (only one is shown); <br />- how water and sewer will be managed; <br />- potential fire hazard; <br />- drainage on the site; <br />- future extension of County Road 116; and <br />- power line easement on south edge of site. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-a) contains the following items for your <br />information: <br /> <br />a. Site location <br />b.
