I City of ~akda]c <br /> <br /> Article 3 <br /> I Adml nistration <br /> <br /> I (b) No building which has been de, ged by fire, e~plosion, act of God or <br /> the public enemy to the extent of more than fifty percent of its <br /> value shall be restored except in conformity with the regulations of <br /> this Ordinance. <br /> I (c) In the event that a non-conforlning use of any building is d~scon- <br /> tinued or its normal operation stopped for a period of one year, the <br /> I use of the san shall thereafter conform to the regulations of the <br /> District in which it is located. <br /> <br /> I (d) When any lawful non-conforming use has been changed to a conforming <br /> use, it shall not thereafter be changed to any non-conforming use. <br /> <br /> i Sec. 25-~8. Interpretation of the. Zoning Ordinance. ~ <br /> In interpreting and applying the provision of this Ordinance, the provi- <br /> sions shall be held to be the minimum require~ents for the promotion of the <br /> I public safety, health, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare. <br /> It is not the intention of this Ordinance to interfere with or abrogate or <br /> annul any eas~nt, covenant or other agreement between parties; provided, <br /> I however, that where this Ordinance imposes a greater restriction upon the <br /> use of a building or premises or upon height of building, or requires <br /> larger open spaces than are imposed or required by 'other ordinances, rules, <br /> regulations or permits, or by easements, covenants or agreements, the pro- <br />I visions of this Ordinance shall govern. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
