Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ O.~hlo ~.V., ~ran~f~r itl Franc~him~; <br /> <br />Council noted that Group W Cable is being sold to North Central Cable <br />Con~unications and will require a transfer of franchise. <br /> <br />Licenses For.Ar*~rova]: <br /> <br />Councilme~ber Reimann noted that Food 'n' Fuel is requesting a gasoline sales <br />licenses and inquired if Food 'n' Fuel p~ovides for air pump on the premises. <br />Councilm~mg)er Reimann also inquired if Staff has c~hecked to see if Moroz is <br />providing air. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Moroz does provide air punps and she will ~heck to see <br />that Food 'n' Fuel does also. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that Northern Par Development, a firm that employs a <br />m~mber of l~sey's City Staff, is applying for a Contractors license. <br />Counci]3mamber Cox stated that when the issue of Northern Par was brought up <br />before he was assured there should be no confict as the firm does not do <br />business in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the particular Staff me~ber's position with the City <br />should not conflict with that person's position with Northern Par Development; <br />there oould have been a conflict if the City position in question was that of <br />the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg pointed out that 3 of the m~mhers of Council conduct <br />City business while holding business licenses of their (~n in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox replied that if those 3 oouncilm~bers tried to better their <br />own private business across the Council table, they would be called on it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber l~eimann and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to <br />approve the following license applications and to specify that Pood 'n' Fuels <br />license for gasoline sales is contingent upon the applicant providing air p~m~ps <br />on the p~operty. <br /> February 25, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 17 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
