Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~4: City Hall BuildinE Repairs: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that he has been working with Mr. Robert Zdenck of Product <br />7 Group to obtain price quotes for eliminating water penetration into City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich recommended that Council advertise for bids for the repair work <br />because the Uniform Contracting Law requires the bidding process when jobs <br />approach the $10,000-$15,000 price range. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to table <br />any further action until the regular October, 1986 Council meeting and that <br />during the interim, City Staff advertise for bids for repair work necessary to <br />eliminate water penetration into the City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />$chlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case~5: ~equest For Variance From Street Frontage Requirement; Case Of <br /> Mr. Lowell Vasseur: <br /> <br />Mr. Lowell Vasseur was present requesting a variance to the street frontage <br />requirement for access to the 40 acre parcel located southwest of 155th Avenue <br />NW and Variolite Street NW. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that staff has met with Mr. Vasseur regarding an alignment <br />and obtaining an easement for the future extension of MSA route 155th Avenue NW <br />through the subject property. It has been determined that the alignment should <br />follow the northern boundary of this property. <br /> <br />Mr. Vasseur stated that he can agree to all terms in the proposed developers <br />agreement except that there is no mention of compensation for deeding the road <br />right-of-way and that easement will change the structure and layout of the <br />parcel substantially. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich advised Council against 'selling' a variance in return for the <br />easement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that private accesses onto State aid roads (Variolite) <br />are not allowed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg directing <br />City Staff to prepare findings of fact relating to Mr. Vasseur's request for a <br />variance to street frontage requirements for Council review and action at the <br />regular Council meeting in October, 1986. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca.
