Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />convene a special City Council meeting on October 7, 1986 to hold a public <br />hearing on the 1987 budget including Federal Revenue Sharing entitlement funds <br />and to consider adoption of the assessed 1986 payable 1987 current ad valorum <br />property tax resolution. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Establish Landfill Commission; <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to table <br />consideration of establishing a Landfill Commission until the next regular <br />Council meeting in order to give the newly appointed councilmember sufficient <br />time to review the ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />~ ~alcoatin~ Assessment Roles: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #'s 86-164 and 86-165 adopting sealcoating assessments for <br />Project ~86-10 (Hall Anderson Acres) and Project ~86-11 (~{alland Acres). <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #'s 86-164 and 86-165). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Darryl Fults - 15410 Barium- Suggested that hearing notices be addressed <br />to the owner of the property rather than 'owner/occupant' as he received 3 of <br />his neighbor's hearing notices in his mailbox. The letter regarding the <br />assessments should have stated that the assessment will be placed on the tax <br />roles if not paid by October 15. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that after Council adopts the assessment roles, the City <br />issues another letter informing the property owners of the options available <br />for paying the assessments. <br /> <br />Case #18: United Power Association: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that part of the City construction of 153rd Avenue NW <br />between Andrie and Puma included moving UPA power poles at the City's cost. <br />The City has acquired right-of-way for the road and UPA power poles will remain <br />in the right-of-way; UPA requesting Ramsey's agreement to pay for any future <br />moving of their poles. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter authorizing <br /> September 30, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 14 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
