Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Case $1: Appoint Councilmen~er To Fill The Unexpired Term Of Gary Reimann: <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartley reported that he has received only one application for the <br /> appointment -- Steve DeLuca. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that a citizen did submit the name of Art Dussl at the <br />time of the mayoral vacancy. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca was present and stated that he is still interested in serving out <br />the unexpired term of Gary Reimann. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to appoint <br />Mr. Steve DeLuca to fill the unexpired term of Gary Reimann as councilmember. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated that the term to which Mr. DeLuca is <br />being appointed will expire December 31, 1986. Mayor Reimann noted that Mr. <br />DeLuca's interest in the community is evident by his attendance of council <br />meetings. Councilmember Cox noted that Mr. DeLuca is also a member of the <br />Economic Development Commission and Corporation and served on the Landfill Ad <br />Hoc Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
