Councilmember Schlueter stated that if the motion were restated, she would <br />change her vote to a 'yes' in order that the minutes will be approved; she did <br />not attend the December 28, 1984 special meeting but she also has no problem <br />with the minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve special City Council meeting minutes dated December 28, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Schlueter. <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: Mayor Heitman and Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING <br /> <br />1985 Council 0raanizational Meeting: <br /> <br />A. Appoint/Reappoint Acting Mayor - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to appoint <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann as Acting Mayor for the year 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heih~an, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />B. Appoint/Reappoint Council Standing Committees - <br /> <br />1. Budget Committee - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to appoint Mayor Heitman to the Budget Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />appoint Councilmember Sorteberg to the Budget Committee. <br /> <br />~he Council passed both of the above motions with one vote. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2. Personnel Committee - <br /> <br />Councilmember COx requested that voting be conducted on each <br />individual appointment to a committee rather than on the committee <br />appointments as a whole. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman agreed and inquired if Councilmember Cox wished to <br />conduct a re-vote on the Budget Committee appointments. <br /> <br />Councilmember COx replied that re-voting on the Budget Committee would <br />not be necessary. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />appoint Councilmember Reimann to the Personnel Con~dttee. <br /> <br />January S, 19$5 <br />Page 6 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
