Stated that Ramsey is a vibrant co~unity coming <br />to life and he is proud of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Lyle McLaughlin - 3155 Bunker Lake Blvd- Andover - Stated that River's Bend <br />II was subdivided by metes and bounds and will be submitting plat to City in <br />the near future. <br /> <br />Gregg Patton - 7005 151st Avenue NW - Su~itted to Council a petition with 102 <br />signatures opposing 4x4 sand races; noted that this petition is in addition to <br />a petition submitted in 1984. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilm~r Reimann to receive a <br />petition from Mr. Gregg Patton opposing 4x4 sand races. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Wetterlind - 8154 161st Aue. N.W. - Stated that he would like to give each <br />of his two dgildren a lot and is requesting approval to subdivide by metes and <br />bounds, two 2-acre parcels from his 10 acre parcel. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that because of a oo~munication problem, this case did not <br />get on the agenda. Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Wetterlind would also need a <br />variance to the 1 unit/10 acres density requirement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember COx to refer Mr. <br />Wetterlind's request for a metes and bounds subdivision and a variance to the <br />1 unit/10 acre density to the Planning and Zoning Commission; further to <br />request that the Planning and Zoning Commission give particular attention to <br />159th Lane. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Councilmembers-(]ox, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Dale McKnight - 7421 150th Lane - Stated he is present on behalf of the Ramsey <br />Jaycees and is requesting Council permission for that organization to install <br />two 4'x8' troIahy cases in the lower level at Ramsey Municipal Center for the <br />purpose of display Jaycee awards and plaques. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to approve <br />and encourage the Ramsey Jaycee's presenting trophy cases for the lower level <br />at Ramsey Municipal Center. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann inquired if the Jaycee's win be <br />furnishing the materials and labor. Mr. McKnight replied that they are. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
