Request For Preliminary And_Final Plat Ar~Drova] Of Kovar .~ddit~oD: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that preliminary and final plat approval for Kovar <br />Addition was originally scheduled for this meeting, but Planning and Zoning <br />delayed their approval until a petition for road is submitted. Mr. Schnelle <br />stated that Planning and Zoning can include recommendations in their <br />preliminary plat approval but road construction and develol~,ent is Council's <br />realm and it was wrong of Planning and Zoning to delay plat approval. <br /> <br />R. l]ltroduction Of Am~ndm~_nt <br /> Environmental Protection <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka distributed copies of DNR's letter dated February 22, <br />1985 regarding Ramsey's Draft Shoreland Management Controls. <br /> <br />Oounci~r Cox noted that a citizen has informed him of a flooding problem <br />at 163rd and Variolite. Mr. Schnelle stated that Staff will look into it. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that DNR is requesting that Ramsey prepare an overlay map <br />of wetlands, shorelands, critical areas, wild and scenic areas and floodways. <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that such a map could cost $1600-$1700. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilm~mber Cox authorizing <br />the City Engineer to prepare a map overlay to Ramsey's existing map that will <br />designate wetlands, shorelands, critical areas, wild and scenic areas and <br />floodways, at a cost not to exceed $300.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
