Letter From Bill Frenzel - <br /> <br />Council noted letter from Bill Frenzel dated March 1, 1985 regarding Ramsey's <br />resolution supporting County request for Federal funds for Rum River Bridge <br />Crossing. <br /> <br />d. begislative Action On Landfill - <br /> <br />Council reviewed the City Staff prepared cover letter that will accompany <br />Ramsey's proposed legislation regarding landfills. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg stated that there are statements in the cover letter <br />that are opinions and not facts. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman noted that what is being reviewed is a cover letter and the <br />formal legislation proposed will not contain opinions. <br /> <br /> Council oonsensus is to approve the cover letter as prepared. <br /> <br /> e) Proposed Legislation Regarding LGA - <br /> <br /> Council noted receiving League of Small Cities proposed legislation for Local <br /> Grant Aid for 1985. <br /> <br />f) Metro Council Response On ~e Draft Solid Waste Management Develo~nt <br /> Guide/Policy Plan- <br /> <br /> Council noted receiving. <br /> <br /> g) Pop Machine Installation At City }{all - <br /> <br /> Council consensus is to approve of City Staff having a pop machine installed <br /> at City Hall, the cost of which will be the responsibility of City Staff. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br /> adjourn this special meeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councila~mbers Sorteberg and <br /> Schlueter. Voting No: None.
