Councilpember Sorteberg stated that he would even look favorably upon the City picking up a negotiated oost for the citizens to have free dumping days; that oost c~uld be taken from the ti[~ping fees Ramsey is receiving from the landfill. Councilp~mber Sorteberg also stated that there is a ketter place to dump leaves than at the landfill; the leaves cDuld be dumped at Central Park and he would even be willing to use his equipment to mulch the leaves into the soil. Motion ky Councilm~r Cox and seoonded by Councilm~mber Reimann requesting the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee review the aspects of Waste Management Of Minnesota, Inc.'s request for a mining permit frc~ the point of view of future use of the landfill depending upon proper soil o~verage and if free dumping days would be amiable to Ramsey. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beib~an, Councilme~bers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Motion ky. Counciln~nber COx and seoonded by Councilm~r Reimann to adjourn this special Council meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Bei~, Councilr~ambers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter.
