Susan Beale also stated that <br />O~uncilmembers Re/mann and Cox are always harping about goverm~ent spending and <br />yet they called a special Council meeting on June 19 to address a boat raffle <br />issue. Ms. Beales stated that when she confronted Councilmember Reimann <br />regarding the special meeting, he told her that City Staff messed up; the ite~ <br />was supposed to have been included on a pce~ious Council agenda and that Mr. <br />C~ayton Berg had admitted Staff's error. Ms. Beale noted that the Lions' <br />gambling license application specifies 'puLl tabs'; was the lioense application <br />a o~e-time deal for the raffle or is it an on-going gambling license; w~at was <br />the outage of the special Council meeting? <br /> <br />Mr. Sc~nelle stated that he was informed by Mr. Berg that Councilm~nbers Cox <br />a~d Reimann called for a special Gouncil meeting; a~oording to the O~rter, ~o <br />m~mbers of Council can call a special meeting.
