Request For Preliminary_ Plat _A~?roval Of Alpaca Estates Third Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Jeff Ou[me, surveyor for /~lpaca Estates, was Ixesent. <br /> <br />Mayor Beitman referred to City Engir~er ~_a_atikka's letter dated May 31, 1985, <br />It~ %2, stating that a grading plan has llot been l~ovided. <br /> <br />Mr. l~atikka stated that he received the grading plan on June 25; he has not <br />had an opportunity to review it in detail, but it appears to be acceptable. <br /> <br />Mr. Caine stated that he will make any revisions to the graclin~ plan that Mr. <br />Raatikka de,ms neoessary. Mr. Caine stated that the developer has also agreed <br />to comply with It~ %3 of Mr. Raatikka's letter by Ix(widing paved cul-de-sacs <br />at the ~wo dead end streets. <br /> <br />Mr. Paatikka stated that additional soil ~orin~s on Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9 of <br />Block 4 will be ~xovided by the time ~f final plat appr~al and he will be <br />sukmitting another report on the plat at the time of final appr~al. <br /> <br />Mr. ~aatikka sta~ that the plat is ruder the jurisdiction of the <br />Envirom~ntal Protection Ordinance. ~is Ordinanoe is on the ager~3__ for <br />adoption this evening and one of the items in the ordinance calls for 6' bike <br />lanes o <br /> <br />Mr. ca{ne stated that the balance of Alpaca Estates was constructed with 4' <br />bike lanes and the de~eloper would prefer to lXoceed consistent with that. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the orS{nanoe can be amem~ed to require 4' bike <br />lar~s; if that is not dome, Alpaca Estates will require a variance to the 6' <br />bike lane requirement. <br /> <br />(bmcil consensus is that one way or another, Alpaca Estates Third Addition <br />wall be al:t~c~ed with 4' hike lanes. <br /> <br />June 25, 1985 <br /> <br />Pa~e 12 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
