draft of the Airport Master Plan has been sukmitted to the governing agencies. <br />One of the ooncerns of the O0~mission is how this airport develounent would be <br />finanoed and the idea of Tax Increment Financing was brought up for discussion. <br />The Airport O0~nission has recommended that the Economic Development (k~mission <br />consider reoommending that the Tax Increment Project Area include all of <br />Ramsey's Industrial area plus a ~mall portion of residential area, i.e., that <br />area included in the AIP eligibility area. <br /> <br />Motion by O0mmissioner Hardin and seconded by Cc~missioner Wagner to direct the <br />Economic and Finance Suboommittee to meet with Ramsey's Tax Increment Financing <br />Consultant, Ms. Arlin Waelti, on August 13 regarding the feasibility of Tax <br />Increment Financing being used for airport development; further, that this <br />su~ittee should report back to this Cc~ssion at it's next regular <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chaiman Greenberg, (k~ssioners Miller, Muller, <br />Vevea, Fults, Wagner and Hardin. Voting No.. None. <br /> <br />Case ~-. Discussion Reqarding Tour Of Local Businesses= <br /> <br />O0o~nission directed C~ssioners Muller, Miller and Vevea to initiate plans <br />for a tour of local businesses and report back to this Oo~mission at it's next <br />regular meeting. <br /> <br />Case %5-. _Update On Request By_ Mate Punch And Die For Extension Of Sewer: <br /> <br />Mr. Hardin stated that he will have a report for this O~ssion at the next <br />regular meeting. <br /> <br />case ~..
