Go~nittee p~cedu~es The c~-~ittee began its w~rk with a six-hour Saturday meetir~ on ber 27, 1984. ~e o~mmittee met for two-~our weekly meetings during Nov~Wer and Deoember, followed by another six-hour Saturday meeting on January 5. With that meetirg the _~3~._ m{ttee finished its time of reoeivirg testimo~ frc~ resource persc~s. (The resource persons are listed below. ) During th~ rest of January ar~ early February the ocmmittee conoentrated o~ identifyirg central issues. In late February the u~m.ittee began work on the first draft of its fittings and oonclusions. ~n late Mar~h the co. tree began debating rec~tions. From that time until the final meeting, May 28, the o~ttee revised the full report eever,.~l times.
