Involve a failure to meet a legal requirement to abate an <br /> <br />identified, significant hazard to the environment or to human health; or <br /> <br />2. Present an immediate, direct and serious risk of harm to the <br /> <br />environment or to human health. <br /> <br />Examples to Class I violations: <br /> <br />1. Failure to comply with a legal requirement to remedy a pollution <br /> <br />source or incident. <br /> <br />Creation of a serious environmental or human health hazard by <br /> <br />activities such as: illegal dumpinq of hazardous wastes, burning toxics in an <br /> <br />unapl)roved boiler or incinerator, or shippinq wastes to a facility not aDproved <br /> <br />tn h~mdle hazar(lotls ,,,,la,'te,., <br /> <br />.').
