I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of the City of Ramsey entering into an agreement with White Bear <br />Animal Control, Inc. for a two year period commencing January 1, 1985 and <br />expiring December 31, 1986. It is further understood that either party may <br />cancel said agreement upon 30 days written notice to either party. ~he <br />Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to sign said document. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~5: On-Site Septic System Maintenance: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated that she and Mr. Berg attended a meeting of <br />~CC and it seems that pumpers do not want to do any intermittent <br />reporting; they only want to pump. Councilmember Schlueter stated that she <br />checked up on some recent pumpings in the City and the pumpers are only <br />pumping. Councilmember Schlueter stated that as a councilmember and <br />interested citizen she will continue to pursue this issue; ordinances <br />should be followed. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that within the next 5 years, most septic systems in <br />Ramsey will need repairs and data can be recorded at the time of repairs <br />and eventually the City's records will be up to date. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated that she, as an individual, intends to <br />continue to educate the citizens that it is to their benefit to keep their <br />systems in proper running order. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle suggested that a request be made to the citizens through the <br />Ramsey Resident to provide City with a diagram of their septic and well <br />locations. <br /> <br />_Case ~6: Approving Of An Audit Firm To Audit City_ Records: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of engaging the firm of Deloitte, Haskins and Sells to audit the <br />City of Ramsey's financial records for year 1984 at a cost not to exceed <br />$8,800. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Request By_ Public Works Department For Council Approval Of <br /> ~ar t-Time Help: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to dispense with the reading of the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilm~r Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-226 approving of hiring certain part-time persons for <br />snow plowing. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-226). <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Page 9 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
