ApDrovina Plans And Specifications <br /> And Ordering Advertisement Of Bids For MSA Street Project <br /> 19 Extending of 149th Avenue NW Eastward From State Highway <br /> #47): <br /> <br />a) Calling For Bids On Street Improvement Of River's Bend Streets - <br /> <br />Council oonsensuswas to dispense with the reading of the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seoonded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution ~84-227 calling for bids for street improvements in the <br />River's Bend develounent. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution <br />984-227). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Approving Of Plans And Specifications And Ordering Advertisement Of <br />Bids For MSA Street Project ~84-19 Extending Of 149th Avenue NW <br />Eastward From State Highway 947 - <br /> <br />Council consensus was to dispense with the reading of the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-228 approving of plans and specifications and ordering <br />the advertisement of bids for MSA Street Project 984-19 extending of 149th <br />Avenue ~ between the west plat boundary of River's Bend to Waco Street N34 <br />(MSA Street). (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-228). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that he has been negotiating with Mr. A1 <br />Peterson for an easement and it looks like a professional appraisal is <br />needed. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that Council should also authorize that <br />condemnation procedures be initiated if it is found to be necessary. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />direct City Attorney to continue to negotiate with Mr. A1 Peterson for <br />necessary right-of-way on 149th Avenue; to retain a qualified fee appraisor <br />to value the property; and if necessary, initiate eminent domain <br />proceedings at the appropriate time. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
