Voting No: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Re/mann. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that he is opposed to the study because he believes <br />$5,000 is too costly to study such a limited number of staff positions; that <br />the City does have documented job descriptions; and current salaries are <br />basically in line with the Metro means. <br /> <br />Case #8: Bills For Approval For ~e Month Of November 1984: <br /> <br />Oouncil consensus was to dispense with the reading of the proposed <br />resolutions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Re/mann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-234 authorizing the payment of bills for the month of <br />November 1984 in the amount of $371,144.89. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution ~84-234). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Re/mann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~9: <br /> <br />Reguest By_ Ms. Afl/ne Voit For A Variance From ~he Subdivision <br /> Reguirements For A ~etes And Bounds Subdivision Of Outlot "A" <br /> In Rolling Green Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that this case is to be deleted from the agenda at the <br />request of Ms. Voit. <br /> <br />M~YOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she received a call from a member of the <br />Recreational Vehicle Association. ~e Association feels that Ramsey is not <br />enforcing the Blue Law at Noon's; that Noon's is conducting business on <br />Sundays; and Ramsey is ignoring the violations for favoratism reasons. <br /> <br />Council oonsensus is that Councilmember Van Wagner inform the Recreational <br />Vehicle Association to submit written documentation regarding the violations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Re/mann gave a verbal report on the Gommunity School Task Force <br />Committee. Councilmember Reimann stated that, basically, the program paid for <br />itself last year and the Committee is going to recon~end a $1.00 increase in <br />fees this ooming year and possibly another $1.00 increase in 1987. All <br />programs will be self sufficient next year with the exception of the s~m~mer <br />programs -- baseball and roaming playground. Councilm~r Re/mann stated <br />that the Task Force should be complete and have a final report prepared by <br />December 11, 1984.
