Mr. Schnelle stated that this item will be placed on Council agenda for January 22, 1985 in order to allow Council and Staff more time to review said document. Discussion .in Regards ~ ~he DeveloDer_'~_ S~wer And Water Si~n Is ~River, s Bend: Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Councilmember Reimann that the developer of River's Bend remove, within 90 days, the sign regarding sewer and water. Further Discussion: Councilmember Schlueter inquired as to why Councilmember COx is setting a time frame of 90 days to remove the sign. Councilmember Cox replied that the frost should be out of the ground and sign materials will not have to be damaged during removal. Councilmember COx added that the signed served it's purpose excellently in that it brought information to the public and whoever placed the sign did Ramsey a great service. I I I I Motion carried. Voting No: None. ~ Purchase Of t_mnd For F~r. ess And !nar~_mm _To Landfill Slidin~ Araa: Mayor Heitman read a letter received from Suzan Beale dated January 8, 1985 regarding sale of land for access to landfill sliding area. ~he subject letter states that the Beale's are not interested in selling that property but are willing to allow it to be used for access to the sliding area with t~o stipulations: 1) Property owner is provided with a waiver of legal 1/ability for injuries and 2) Property will be used exclusively for access to the sliding area. Councilmember COx stated that now is the time to pursue this sliding area and access rights to it. Councilmember Cox stated that Council now knows the access opportunity exists; he will be discussing with the County Commissioner on Friday, January 11, 1985 the encouragement of that land being used as a sliding area.
