I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />4) Vegetative screening shall be utilized to <br />the maximum extent consistent with safety re- <br />gui ze~ents; <br /> <br />5) Routing shall avoid unstable soils, bluff- <br />lines or high ridges, the alteration of the <br />natural environment, including grading, shall <br />be minimized; and <br /> <br />6) The crossings shall be subject to the <br />site planning requirements set forth in <br />Ar t~cle .... <br /> <br />c) Utility Substantions. Utility substations <br />shall be subject to the following standards: <br /> <br />1) All substations shall be subject to the <br />site planning requirements set forth in <br />Article __; and <br /> <br />2) New substitutions or refurbishment of <br />existing substations shall be compatible in <br />height, scale, building materials, landdscap- <br />ing and signing with the surrounding natural <br />environment or land uses. Screening by <br />natural means is encouraged and should be <br />compatible with the surrounding environment. <br /> <br />d) Pipelines. Pipelines and underground utility <br />facilities shall be subject to the following stand- <br />ards: <br /> <br />1) All pipelines and underground facilities <br />shall be subject to the site planning require- <br />ments set forth in Article <br /> <br />2) The facilities shall be located to avoid <br />wetlands, woodlands and areas of unstable <br />soils; ar~ <br /> <br />3) All underground placing of utility facili- <br />ties and pipelines shall be followed by reveg- <br />etation and rehabilitation to the conditions <br />which existed on site prior to development. <br /> <br />2) Public and Private Roads and Railways. New roads <br />and railways crossing the Critical Area Corridor or <br />routed within the Critical Area Corridor shall meet the <br />following standards: <br /> <br />a) Roads and railways shall be constructed to min- <br /> Ordinance %85- <br /> <br />Pa~e 27 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
