Under <br />the City's Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan, this plat is <br />proposed to drain to the Mississippi River in the future. <br />However, as previously stated in our December 4, 1984 <br />letter, it may not be feasible to provide a drainage outlet <br />to the river. Therefore, interim drainage provisions will <br />have to be made. Interim drainage provisions could include <br />on-site ponding and/or stormwater detention on roof tops and <br />parking areas. <br /> <br />In review of the Anoka County Soils Survey, the soil on the <br />plat is Hubbard coarse sand which is suitable for on-site <br />wastewater disposal. However, due to the rapid permeability <br />of the soil, the design of an on-site system may require a <br />soil liner to slow the percolation rate. <br /> <br />Based on the soil borings provided, mottling of the soils <br />occurred at elevation 857.5. Therefore, the drainfields <br />should be placed at a minimum elevation of 861.5. To <br />accomplish this, filling or construction of special designed <br />on-site sewage disposal systems will be required. <br /> <br />civil · municipal · planning · soils · land surveying <br /> <br /> <br />
