Adr~inister and enforce the provisions of this ordinance <br /> in accordance with its literal terms and shall not have <br /> the power to permit any construction or any use or <br /> change of use which does not conform to this ordinance; <br /> b. Issue building permits and temporary conditional use <br /> pernl i t s; and <br /> c. Maintair, a permanent file of all zoning applications as <br /> public records. <br /> <br />P i a n nn i r, g C o mm i s s i or, <br /> <br />A city plar, ning commission for the City of Rar~sey is hereby <br />established. <br /> <br />The plar~ning cormission shall consist of seven voting members who <br />shall be appointed by the city council and may be rerm-,ved by a <br />four-fifths vote of the council. The members shall be <br />app,z, inted for terms of four years. All appointees shall hold <br />their offices until their successors are appointed and qualified. <br />Vacancies during the term shall be filled by the city council for the <br />ur~expired portion of the term. Every member shall, before <br />entering upon the discharge of his/her duties, take an oath that <br />he will faithfully discharge the duties of that office. <br />All members shall serve without compensation. Commission members <br />may be reir~bursed for their necessary expenses incurred as a <br />result of being a commission member. Members shall be residents <br />of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The Commissic, n shall elect a chairman from among its appointed <br />membe~-s for a term of one year; and the Commission may create and <br />fill such other offices as it may determine. The Commission <br />shall hold at least one regular meeting each month. It shall <br />follow Robert's Rules of Order as revised, 2nd edition, for the <br />trar, sactior, of business and shall keep a record of its <br />resnlutions, transactions, and findings, which record shall be a <br />public record. Said record shall be transmitted to the City <br />Council on a mor, thly basis. On or before January I of each year, <br />the Commissior, shall submit to the City Council a report of its <br />work during the preceding year. Exper,ditures of the Commission <br />shall be within amounts appropriated for the purpose by the City <br />Cnunc i 1. <br /> <br />The plar, r, ing commissior, is an advisory board to the City Council <br />and shall exercise duties conferred upon it by this ordinance as <br />well as any other duties which may from time to time be referred <br /> <br /> <br />
